| Kilowatt is the name of a complex and complete
information technology solution dedicated to the electricity sales
industry in the new deregulated market. It is the result of an analysis
developed with industry experts and two years of software programming
and optimisation by our development team. The procedure is in continual
evolution, in part due to industry regulations which are not yet stable
and in part due to the continual progress made by our development
department to further improve performance as well as the interaction of
input and output data. The procedure has been designed with interfaces
to the latest generation relational Databases and its base tables meet
with the requirements related to the enactment of the Energy Bourse. The
functions also guarantee the production and management of the UTF (Local
Franchising Departments) tax part.
The package is aimed at some leading stakeholders in the deregulated market: wholesalers, distributors, and consortiums. There are many functions implemented in the package which are difficult to list. However, it is possible to state that Kilowatt is a tool for complete management of a facility dedicated to selling energy. Billing, profiles, consumption calculations, importing of Enel (Italian energy company) and other distributor readings, flow production for Grtn (Italian energy company) and for other company departments.
